Any recommendations for a durable cat toy?

My cat loves to chew, and she completely destroys toys within about 24-48 hours. Also, she loves catnip toys, but will chew through anything to get to the catnip. I’m looking for a durable, chewable toy that will last a bit longer. Any recommendations?

Make them yourself. You can create them more sturdy than the cheap over expensive toys made in china… and they are much cheaper if you make them yourself too.

Why not use a laser pointer with her, and ping pong balls, and just give her the catnip separately?

You can get hard cat toys made of wood or plastic, and you can open them up and put cat nip in them. I’ve found them at Petcetera. But I personally make my own cat toys. Nothing fancy. I just buy really durable fabric, make a pouch with it (put cat nip in a pile in the center and pull all the edges together) and sew it up really tight with a needle and thread. So you could just go to the fabric store and find the thickest, most durable material you can find, and maybe double or triple it up and see how that works. Much cheaper than buying them (especially if they are destroyed regularly!).

I just give my cat a toy on a string, and when my kitteh bites through the toy i sew it together! simple! also cat trees are really though, and do not get destroyed easily, u shuld get a cat tomer/tree with something hanging from it! Lots of fun!

Kong are the best made pet toys IMO. I just thought they made them for dogs, but they have them for cats and they are really cheap too
