   at 6wks old the catnip will have no effect on a kitten.

   Where is his mum btw ?

   It is recommended that you wait until the kitten is over 7 months old before giving it catnip.

   Yes, but kittens usually don’t respond to catnip until about 3-6 months old or so. It would be ok and it would not hurt them though

   Sure, but catnip often isn’t attractive to kittens. He’ll enjoy the toy for its other features.
