how much catnip spray do we out on a toy?

im doin this so he could go near the toy…how much do i spray on it

I just give my cats’ toys a couple of "squirts" ……1 on each side, then toss the toys on the floor. The cats come over & rub their noses on the toys, toss them in the air, squabble over who gets which toy, etc…….and after about 10 minutes of this, they ( 11 ) go lie down and take a nap!

I put catnip on tennis balls, fluffy cat toys, draw strings that have old collars tied on each end, etc….anything that will absorb the spray. The odor stays on these well enough that the cats will still play with them even after 3-4 days. I usually spray them again about 2 weeks later. This way, the cats have something "new" to play with…….instead of having the catnip on there ( potent ) all the time……

Hope this is what you wanted to know…….Good luck…….ENJOY….

Catnip "spray"? Seriously? Never heard of it. Why not use actual catnip?

I’ve tried the spray and my cat prefers the real thing.
