What are you giving your cats for christmas this year?

I am giving my three cats a crinkly cat tunny, a catnip teaser want toy, two packets of treats and I’m going to make them some homemade treats. What are your cats getting?
Ok guys if you don’t have cats please don’t answer.
And only answer if you are giving your cat something for Christmas. I don’t care if you aren’t giving your cat anything, so don’t answer. Only answer if you are giving your cat something for Christmas!

Wow, you’re way ahead of me! I haven’t figured out yet what to get the pets – or anyone for that matter yet! I have one of those crinkly tunnels and my cats and my ferrets love it!

I’ll probably continue on my neverending question for a remote control mouse that actually works. I swear I’ve tried all of them the last three or four Christmases. Last year they got an RC helicopter that my Persian just LOVES. You turn it off and he’ll just sit there staring at it then tapping it gently like "Hello? Are you awake?"

ER – mittens – for a cat? Only in nursery rhymes. Please don’t torture your poor cat.

Dizzie – I have a really great ferret forum. Message me for a link.

Duh??? Nothing, they are cats – no religion thus no presents. The moment they come with me to church, willingly.
    Peace.

Hey, I make all natural dog treats for my dog, my cat loves em (and the vet oked them for the cat) so both animals are getting new collars and my home made treats!

I don’t have a cat at the moment after my brother moved out with his cat.

However "cat" (name of bros cat) will be having a big cardboard box. sounds weird but he loves boxes, some of the milk flake treats and a new mouse as he had one particular mouse he loves and his old one is getting tatty. My brother however will prob give him double amounts of food on christmas day because he loves to eat!

    1. A homemade sweater with a hood, and possibly some mittens.
    2. Cooked turkey and raisins for dessert.
    3. New Toys and a fancy-shmancy collar :)
    4. LOTS of hugs and kisses!

It seems like I’m going to spoil him but that’s okay, I love him so much and I am entirely grateful for the way that he has impacted my life that he deserves all it and more! :D

I make all kinds of cat toys – and also give them to my friends and associates who have cats. If you want to make some, directions below. If you can’t sew, you can use a glue gun with glue sticks which are non-toxic. (other glues sometimes don’t hold strong enough or securely enough) – real cheap in Wal-Marts.

I do large sized mice using furry type materials (not those little tiny things) and put in 1-2 catnip pellets; use cord for tail which they end of eating off first, and glue on two large eyes. Don’t always have to be mouse shape, can be two pieces of material glued or sewn together and stuff with some microfiber filling. Always seal securely so any stuffings do not come out.Cats will chew them up (like mini bean bags).

Octopus – cut 2 pieces of furry like material (2 x 2 inches or 3 x 3 inches) into a square or round shape; cut strips of fleece to make tentacles;, sandwich the tentacles inside withe two pieces right sides together leaving a small end open to turn inside out and also include section of elastic; sew together; piece of elastic can be tied into knot so it fits over a door knob or slat in a chair (love to see cats cat them, suddenly turn loose causing them to fly up into air, and then they catch) – I put 1 catnip pellet inside all my toys. (IF YOU CAN’T SEW, CAN USE GLUE GUN OR GLUE STICK TO SEAL – PUT TOGETHER WITH WRONG SIDES TOGETHER AND SANDWICH TENTACLES AND PIECE OF ELASTIC – USUALLY 8 TENTACLES IN WHATEVER LENGTH YOU LIKE)

Take strip of cording like kind used for clothes lines, varying lengths to make a string. All you do is tie knots at different spots, but do double knots. On some I add a big size bell that cat cannot swallow if it comes off, about size 16 or 18 mm – hobby store- if cannot get cord through bell, use dental floss doubled, to go through bell and then sew onto knot(s), then secure knot and bell with a glue gun. Be sure to tie ends of cord which will keep cat from chewing ends like they do on the mice. (as you knot cording, it curls up a bit, which is great but means you need to start with at least 12 inches and up strips. Experiment with all sizes, cats won’t care how long or short!

Lastly, like I mentioned the little bean bag type things – I also use them with feathers. Can put a feather on one end or both ends. You put the end of a feather inside the square of material and glue it shut. Don’t need to stuff with anything. Sometimes I leave one end open without the feather and cats love it.

I sometimes do cat shows. I always indicate they are truly cat tested because my cats takes them out of the basket where I drop the completed ones. This lets me know that cats will really like them.

All of my love, hugs, kisses. She’s been a good girl, these last 20 years. I will also spoil her with Christmas duck, and some catnip.

BY THE WAY~the person above mentioned giving cat raisins. RAISINS, GRAPES AND CHOCOLATE ARE TOXIC FOR ANIMALS!

Well- I just bought ANOTHER cat tree. A Butterfly Blower,2 feather toys and a hamster ball and I’m far from done. Still need to make a run to PetCo for 1 more toy I want for them and order some new scratch pads.
I have 2 cats and 4 ,5 month old kittens. I already have 1 cat tree but with so many playing on it at once they’re getting too big to all fit.
My relatives are all saying I’m overdoing spoiling the cats and dogs with so much because they already have a ton of crap to play with but in my opinion it’s merely self preservation.I have to keep them all busy so they aren’t annoying me.
