Catnip is plant …
Catnip is plant material so could have all sorts of nasties in it, would need to be irradiated before it’d be passed though to anyone making a purchase. Australia has pretty much the toughest quarantine laws of any country.

WHOA! Seriously?! …
WHOA! Seriously?! Catnip is quarantined? What would it have that could be harmful? “Also (in general) Australian domestic cats are less influenced by catnip! Ragdolls that come from imported bloodlines usually still react to it.” – HOLY CRAP!! How weird. Interesting about Valentino!

There are …
There are quarantine issues importing toys that have catnip in them so many of the exciting ones aren’t available here. Also (in general) Australian domestic cats are less influenced by catnip! Ragdolls that come from imported bloodlines usually still react to it.
In very small doses Ella loves it, but in big amounts she gets super agressive. I tried growing some, fresh or dried it was actually the best deterrent I could find to stop Valentino going places where he shouldn’t!

I was right about Caymus I’m sure, and I think Rags too. I know I was right about Charile and when he and Trig were babies. The only one I could figure out was Murphy, poor Murphy. I’ll get him nest time!

I got Lucy a very …
I got Lucy a very small felt mouse the other day and smothered it in catnip,, she kicked the heck out of that thing and it was hilarious to watch because it’s so, so tiny!

I’m guessing this …
I’m guessing this was more then one cat seeing as the coat changes, plus Charlie was the only one I could figure out as an adult, but I could tell who the kittens were. Sweet little things. Charlie was really tasting the rainbow. Plus his sneeze was funny!
