This is in response to those who have cats stuck in a tree and won’t come down.?

My 6 month old kitten was stuck in one of our 50 foot pine trees for over 19 hours. I finally got her down with a makeshift net (duck net taped to a long pool stick) placed a catnip toy in the net, and put it up to the limb. After about 30 min she was curious enough and got in the net, and we walked down the ladder. I have never been so relieved!

Yeah, cats do that and might have been scared up the tree by a dog or something. My cats are indoor so they stay safe as I had a outdoor cat before and our neighbor killed my cat as well as other neighborhood cats.

Since your cat is outdoors it would be great to keep them indoors but if you can’t and you have this huge tree, have your dad or you (not sure how old you are) place a metal band around the tree, kinda high so the cat can’t climb up. I gave you a link to see what material I am talking about. You just cut it and get nails and nail it down to make a band. plus this keeps rats out of the tree too.

You could also help the cat learn how to climb down a tree. It’s not hard. Cat’s are great climbers up and down. Just some have a hard time learning they need to climb down face first.
