Is it true that momma cats bring the kittens toys and stuff?
Someone was telling me their mother cat was bringing her kittens toys and socks and fun things seems really cute!!!
Mom cats teach their babies all kinds of things about survival and getting along with others. The toys serve as objects to *hunt and kill*. The kittens will also learn about waiting their turn to get to a toy.

It happens, but it is not usual, common, "normal".

They could, but its not to play. Mother cats will teach their kittens how to hunt and fend for themselves, which is probably what these "toys" were for.

I once had a momma cat who used to bring field mice into my kitchen. She would put the kittens in a circle (about 3 feet across) , and teach them how to catch the mice. I have even had a cat who brought me presents, such as tarantulas, (dead of course), lizards, rats, half-eaten birds, you name it. And she was, oh so proud of herself!
