What are some toys that cats like?
I am getting a new cat/kitten and I dont know what kind of toys to get her.
From a rolled up piece of foil to a christmas bow. Don’t have to spend a lot, look around your home, but never give a kitten that young anything she could ingest, same principal as with a young child.
Make sure any toys purchased have no pieces that your kitten could swallow. Cat nip inside a plain toy (no tails or ribbons attached) make excellent toys, but even a white sock of yours, folded inside itself makes a good play thing. Oh! Ping pong balls are great too. Don’t spend a lot, their ideas of what’s fun changes as they mature. Your kindness & patience is what is most important. You never stated how old this kitten/cat will be…take that into consideration too. Remember that going into your home is scary to whatever age feline you decide upon. Don’t drop them into a huge room at first. Cats love tiny places & dark places since they sleep some 20hours a day! Good Luck.

any small rolling or sliding toy, just slide it on the floor in front of the cat and she’ll get crazy behind it…

Cats have wild instinct. My cat loved anything that showed resistance. (ill tell you in a sec. XD) Middle Aged and plus cats love anything like a piece of string with a feather attatcked to the end, hold the string and wave it around, drag it across the flor and stuff, they love to stalk things. Kittens like any toys that roll and they can chase. Like a tennishball or something. Hope this helps!

All the cats I have ever been around absolutely love those little red lazer lights. They will chase those around for hours.
