How do i get stock for my company?

Hi

Nothing is set in stone yet but how would i go about getting pets supplies for an online store for example Dog,Cat and Reptile accessories. How would i get these items at a good price as obviously your in the to make a profit. I know i have a lot more research to do but i just wanted to know about the stock thanks.

Normally through a wholesaler, but watch their sale price with the recommended retail price.
