How much do pet supplies cost in the Philippines?
I am travelling to the philippines and doing two weeks of volunteer work there with and animal shelter. I have people in Australia who want to make a donation and give me money to buy toys and pet supplies to the shelter when I am in the Philippines.
Could anyone give me an idea of how much a dog toy or cat toy would cost?
Or how much a cat scratching post would cost?
Or a large bag of kibble or dry food?
And a tin of dog food?
My husband tells me that Tiendecitas is the best and cheapest place to buy animal supplies? Is it?
Thanks so much for the help!
Any place where pet supplies stores are bunched together would have competitive prices. Tiendesitas or Hobbies of Asia on Diosdado Macapagal Ave. would both be ok. Asian products could probably be cheaper here. As for dry pet food, there are so many brands.

hmmm… i am a filipino and now lives in US. and when i used to live there when i was a kid, i remember maids usually gives them left over food. lol. but i dont know now, if they give there pets dog food now, and pamper there pets how people would pamper there here. but anyway, my cousin from the philippines sometimes ask me to buy some stuff for there dog here cause its cheaper. like a leash or some toys. and im not sure that you will find a scratching post over there. or maybe what you can do is, already buy some toys there, and when you get there, buy some more. and dog food, i think you can find some cheap dog food there. just ask the right people where you can get it. good luck!!! =)
