I gave my cat too much pet calm?
I gave my cat some of this stuff so he’ll calm down cause he’s terrified of going outside and he needs sun. But too much squirted down from the dropper and I think I gave him 2 drops instead of one. It says 1ML per 40 pounds. I gave him about 1/5 of a ml about. He is tiny. Will he be ok?

I don’t just throw him outside, I go outside with him in the sun but he still gets really scared bc of the outside noises. I figured he has to go out once in a while. I’m not ‘drugging him’ that’s what this stuff is for. He’s not tiny like a kitten he’s almost a full grown cat but still small
Yeah he’s going to be ok.! I gave him this a while ago, he is eating right now.
I’m sure your cat will be fine – when did you give it to him? Just keep an eye on him and make sure his breathing does not get too slow. How much does your cat weight? You might want to call your vet or any vet to make sure.

Call a vet and double check; they’re the only ones who can really say.

best to call the vet.
if your cat is terrified of the outside, don’t stress your cat out by making him go out.

why does your cat need sun?? if your cat hates the outdoors, don’t force him outside, wtf? what kind of pet owner are you? if the cat wants to lay in the sun, he can do it indoors from a window. don’t drug your cat and force him outside, it’s just going to make him associate the wierd drugged up feeling with the outdoors and freak him out even more (especially when you F it up like you seem to)

Phone your vet immediately.
You need to be extremely careful when you use medication with cats because their internal organs are tiny and very delicate.
The easy answer for the future is don’t self-medicate – always see a vet first.
I hope your cat will is fine – he will get used to going outside in his own time.

Contact your vet to make sure you didnt give him too much and tell them what you used it for and ask them for advice on if you should make you cat go outside. . If he’s terrified of going outside then I wouldnt make him go outside. He sounds too young to be outside anyway, if he is tiny. If he is tiny carry him outside and sit in the sun with him and take him back in. To force him outside seems cruel and to give him pet calm to make him go outside when he doesnt want to sounds unreasonable. Give the little guy a break. If he wants to go outside one day then he will go to the door. Keeping them as indoor cats is a better idea anyway. Keeps them safer.

In my unprofessional opinion he should be fine since all it is is herbs. How is he acting?

I’m really glad he’s ok, but I don’t even want to know the rationale for forcing a cat outside! Most people are worried about the opposite problem.
Let him stay inside where he’s safe. Unless you’re in a cave, he’ll find sun if he wants it!

Um… do you not have WINDOWS in your house? Cats don’t need outdoor sun… where the hell did you hear that? it is VERY dangerous for a cat to be outdoors… and that "pet calm" is ridiculous! my god, find your cat a better home!
