What is a good pet store name?
I am wanting to open a pet supply store and I’m in the middle of making out a business plan. I need help coming up with names. It will focus on dog and cat supplies. Everything from food and treats to clothes, etc. Whole 9 yards except I won’t sell pets. Just the supplies. I will open it in Alabama if that helps. Please help me come up with some catchy names. Thanks!

name it after your first pet or the pet who gave you the idea to open the shop like if your first pet was "Lucy" name it "Lucy’s" hope that helped a lil

What kind of food will you be focusing on? What price range? We just opened one in Connecticut a few months ago. We focused on quality cat and dog food–nothing that contained any by-product, corn or wheat. All of the treats are manufactured in the U.S. Our store’s name is short and simple, and gets the point across.
Figure out what type of food and supplies you will carry and pick a name based on it.
Another great way to pick a name is to base it on your pets. One such example is Weruva, a high-end canned cat and dog food. They named their company after their 3 rescue cats, WEbster, RUdi, and VAnessa. While no one can pronounce Weruva, everyone surely remembers it.

Think about what market you are targeting. Sometimes just having the name of the area you are in is very effective. For example if you are in an area called Newtown, you could call it "Newtown Dog & Cat Supplies". Simple, but effective.
