Do your cats play more with store bought toys?

Or toys they find themselves around the house? My cats love toys they make themselves that they find in the house…. the ring around the milk jug I have to give them they’ll bat around for hours. They’ll come running when they hear the aluminum foil come out of the drawer and get a ball of that crumpled up.. Boxes, newspapers. They love all the cheapo toys instead of things I buy for them! Do yours like the store bought ones?

xDD;
We bought my cat this big playhouse thing to keep her entertained, and she liked the box more than the actual playhouse.

She also prefers plastic WalMart bags and balls of paper instead of the thing. xDD;

But her favorite plaything is my right hand. O-o;

    They do enjoy catnip toys from the store. Mine also love the milk jug rings and also batting around marbles around the house.

    I think my cat is just weird. Because she doesn’t like to play much with anything. And when she does she will for a minute or two then quit. As for catnip she doesn’t seem to like it at all.

    What does this mean? All cats are different. If yours likes cheap toys all the better for you.

    Neither really. Our cats just wrestle eachother now-a-days and sleep. Haha.

    Paper bags that she can climb into, tin foil rolled into a ball and her new favorite is polystyrene. I got a gift for christmas which was contained in a polystyrene box. She started pulling bits off with her teeth and scratching it. It looked as if a snow storm had broken out. I had to take that one away from her.
