If cats are so great, how come there aren’t any seeing eye cats?
You cat-people are so touchy. I think you all need a dog – real soon. Maybe then you’ll be able to accept that some people are goofy and like to have fun. It doesn’t mean you take away their toys.
Cat people are just mean, I guess.
Aw, come on. Cats are SMART. They lie around all day, don’t do a lick of work, and we cat owners provide for their food, shelter, grooming, medical bills, and even (yuck) clean their litter boxes. Dogs… well… they WORK…

Lets see. Seeing eye dogs are working dogs. That sounds like alot of fun/ Would you rather work when told to or do what you want.
Hmm nice quote
If you bother with a stupid Q, and don’t provide a stupid A, guess who’s the stupid A? That’s right, buddy – it’s you. 360°

Aw thats not fair I like dogs and cats…however I believe a person must have more living space, time, and patience for a dog. As far as why arent there seeing eye cats, I dont believe a cat has the strength to lead/haul around a human being.

There are seeing eye cats, but you have to pay them a lot.
Dogs are stupid and do anything for a bone (just like humans).

Hey, who’s the mean one? Did someone take your toy and give it to a cat person or something?

You shouldn’t generalize about anything. If you have a preference that’s great. Diversity is what makes the world go around and I happen to like a wide variety of animals, but mostly dogs and cats. I’m sure there are many dogs out there who prefer cats over other dogs so what’s that tell you. I just got this little treasure in my email as a forward and I thought I was share it. Accompanying it was a photo fo a large yellow Lab with fairly fat tiger striped orange tabby curling in and around the dogs legs as they sniffed noses…very sweet. Sorry..little too mushy for ya…well, read the caption below. Love in Christ, ~J~
Cashew, my 14-year-old yellow Lab, is blind and deaf. Her best friend is Libby, 7, her seeing-eye cat. Libby steers Cashew away from obstacles and leads her to her food. Every night she sleeps next to her. The only time they’re apart is when we take Cashew out for a walk. Without this cat, we know Cashew would be lost and very, very lonely indeed. It’s amazing but true: This is one animal who knows what needs to be done and does it day in and day out for her friend.

What, in order to be a good animal, it has to be a seeing eye animal ? Come on, cats have their place in history helping humans, remember hearing about the black plague in the middle ages of Europe ? That was because some people thought that cats were evil and destroyed them. Cats have rid barns and homes of vermin for thousands and thousands of years.
