Is it bad for puppies to play with toys that have cat nip in them?

My puppy has been playing with my cat toys that have cat nip in them, and then after he runs around like crazy. I was just wondering if that was bad for him because i know how it affects my cats and the puppy is smaller then them!

My puppy does the same thing! He loves my cat’s toys more than he loves his own dog toys.

I haven’t heard anything harmful about it. I guess just make sure he doesn’t rip the toy apart and eat it since cat toys are not meant to withstand tough puppy teeth.

There is nothing out there that states that catnip and dogs dot mix. My dog loves my cats toys. The truth is it’s an herb. It’s the cent that makes cats go crazy and there are similar scents that work the same way for a dog. If you’re still looking for more info here’s a web link that you might like:
