Is tape dangerous to cats if swallowed?

I fixed one of my cats toys with Scotch tape and i fixed another toy of hers just recently but then i took it off because i became worried she would chew on it. I left one toy with tape on it for a while before i taped the other one up but im nervous that if i accidently left a small piece of tape on the floor and she swallowed it it would hurt her and im kinda worried about her.

keep a close eye on the kitty for problems- like gagging, pawing at the mouth- vomiting- etc.
that may be a sign the tape is stuck along the digestive tract

It depends. Some kinds of tape are manufactured with dairy products. If your cat is lactose intolerant, then it could be a MAJOR problem. But if your cat isnt lactose intolerant, then it should be a MINOR problem, otherwise known as a problem with a flatted 3rd.

I wouldn’t worry about it but you should consider throwing out broken toys to prevent future events. Toys are inexpensive to replace…a trip to the vet or replacing your animal is costly.

don’t use tape!!if your going to fix a toy use a non-toxic glue that sturdy enough.
